We have been in existence since 2002 and we were know as HMSCTG, which stood for Hypermobility Syndrome Colchester & Tendring Support Group, however we soon realised that we had to change the name again, because we were reaching people outside of our catchment area.

In 2006 we decided to call our organisation HEAG, meaning Hypermobility East Anglia Group, which was alright until early 2009, and you guessed it we were dealing with inquiries from the whole of the UK. In the summer of 2009 (July) we became Hypermobility UK and we have no further plans to change it or merge.

We have been involved in many different projects and some of these you can read about in our campaigns, just to keep us going!
